Mike Shannon and Danny Shannon have been building together for a lifetime—taking on projects that span from cutting-edge startups to large-scale enterprise systems.
Before founding Impruve, Mike spent over a decade as co-founder and CEO of Packback, the leading AI-powered writing improvement tool in U.S. higher education, which served 1.5 million+ students before being successfully acquired in 2024. Packback was recognized by Time Magazine as one of the world’s top education companies.
Danny is a leading AI-native software engineer with deep expertise in scaling intelligent systems. His work includes everything from enterprise-scale systems at JP Morgan Chase to AI-native applications for VC-backed startups.
